What can I expect from Back In Time Exhibition?
You will have the chance to get up close to a wide collection of original items used on the set of the Back To The Future trilogy, including the DeLorean Time Machine, costumes, storyboards, set pieces, and more. You will learn production secrets through multimedia content. You will also be able to play the arcade game Marty McFly used to play in a 7-Eleven and enjoy exclusive photo opportunities. The exhibition will be a fun experience for film fans, children and adults alike. The memorabilia will immerse you in the world of this iconic sci-fi film trilogy, giving you a new appreciation of all the elements that made it so unique.
What is the DeLorean Time Machine photo opportunity?
For £15 you will be able to get in the iconic DeLorean Time Machine and receive a printed photo. If you wish to receive a digital copy of the photo, a valid email address will be requested onsite. It will not be possible to send a digital copy of the photo if no email address is provided onsite.
Where does this exhibition take place?
The exhibition takes place at Camden Market Hawley Wharf, on the lower ground floor.
Does the experience take place indoors or outdoors?
The exhibition takes place indoors.
How long does the exhibition last?
The visit will take around 45 to 60 minutes.
Is it COVID secure and safe?
The experience is designed to be COVID safe. Hand sanitizer will be available at the venue and face masks are encouraged, although not mandatory. The number of visitors per session will be monitored and limited to reduce sanitary risks. Staff will be present throughout to ensure a safe experience for all.
Are the work in the exhibition original and certified?
The exhibition features over 70 items that were used by the cast and crew throughout the production of the trilogy.
Is the exhibition authorised by Back To The Future?
No, Back to The Future does not authorise any exhibitions of its works. The exhibition presents original, official works belonging to Back to the Future Museum Italia association.
Can we buy the items on display at the exhibition?
No, the items are part of the private collection of Back To The Future Museum Italia association and are not for sale. However, there is a gift shop where you can buy merchandise.
Is there an audio guide available for this exhibition?
Yes, you will be able to access a free audio guide with your phone by scanning the QR code available onsite. Please bring your own headphones to avoid disturbing the other visitors.
Is there air conditioning?
The exhibition space is well ventilated, despite not having air conditioning.
Is there heating?
Yes, however it is recommended to wear warm clothing considering the current weather.
Is the experience accessible for deaf people?
Yes, the experience is accessible for deaf people as all audio content will be subtitled.
What accessibility options do we have for someone visually impaired?
There will be audio guides available to all visitors, which will help make the experiences more accessible to visually impaired visitors.
How do I prove my disability?
At the reception desk, the disabled person will be asked for an official document proving their disability such as a blue badge, a letter for PIP, a doctor's letter or other official documents
Will there be strobe lights?
Yes, there will be occasional strobe lighting. Please speak to a member of staff if you would like to have more information on where such lighting will be.
Will food and beverage be available on site for purchase?
No food and beverage will be available on site for purchase.
Can I take photos or record the experience?
Feel free to take photos without flash and share them. When taking photos, please make sure not to disturb other customers. Professional equipment, flash photography, and tripods are not permitted.
Are there chairs available? Can I be seated during the experience/exhibition?
Seating is only provided in certain areas of the exhibition. If you have a condition that requires you to sit, please email us prior to your visit at

Will restrooms be available on site?
Restrooms will be available outside the building (in the mall where the exhibition is), accessible via stairs and elevators.
Is this a cosplay-friendly experience?
Most definitely yes.
ACCESS
Do I need to wear a mask?
For the safety and comfort of everyone, masks are recommended within the experience but not compulsory.
Do I need to arrive at the start of my scheduled session?
It is recommended that you arrive within the time stated on your ticket, but you can arrive within the next 10 minutes.
What happens if I arrive late?
For the safety of our visitors, we will limit the number of visitors per hourly session. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late to your scheduled session, you will have to wait until the next session, provided that it is not sold out. Priority will be given to the ones who arrive on time to their assigned session.
Can I bring animals?
The only animals allowed on site are service dogs.

Is there an age requirement?
No, the exhibition is suitable for children (and adults) of all ages.
Is the venue compliant with UK accessibility law?
Yes, the exhibition is wheelchair accessible and complies with UK accessibility law. Disabled people can enter at a reduced rate and their carers enter free. If you do require special arrangements in relation to your disability, please contact

Is there parking available?
Paid street parking is available close to the venue.
What if the weather is bad?
The exhibition is held indoors and will not be affected by the weather.
What are the prohibited items at the experience?
Flash photography, alcohol, or anything which may disturb the other patrons.
Are wheelchairs available to rent?
Unfortunately, we cannot offer wheelchairs for rent, but you can enter and see the exhibition with your own wheelchair. A lift is available for wheelchairs users.
Can I bring pram/ baby carriage?
It is recommended to leave pram/ baby carriage at the entrance due to stairs.
